Am I the only one that's completely dumfounded at the total abuse of power and conflict of interest going on right now in Congress?
They're having hearings...publicly shameing the owners and CEO of Toyota for safety problems with their products.
Isn't it true that the government owns GMC and Chrysler?
Isn't Toyota the biggest car producer in the world right now?
It's like Microsoft calling Apple on the carpet for selling crappy computers...what gives them the right to do this?

Traditionally, recall cases are handled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. At least the others have been over the years. According to a story in the Wall Street Journal toady, the Toyota case was led by Obama transportation secretary Ray LaHood.

WTF is going on?
This whole thing stinks. Toyota is responsible for fixing the problems and they will. They don't need the CEOs of competing businesses (congress) attempting to destroy them.
How many jobs will will be lost at Toyota plants accross the U.S. because of this power grab?
